NACCOP > Title IX Partnership Award

This award will recognize a Title IX Coordinator, Deputy Coordinator, or Investigator who has contributed significantly to the development of an institution’s Clery Act compliance program. Nominations should be made by the Clery Compliance Officer or principal person or persons responsible for Clery compliance at their institution. Nominations should address the nominee’s role in collaborating and partnering with the Clery Compliance Officer in the development of internal controls necessary for statistical reconciliation, ongoing disclosures (e.g., Timely Warnings), the evolution of educational and awareness programming, and policy development; especially as it relates to compliance with the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) amendments to the Clery Act. Substantive examples should be provided that address the specific ways in which the nominee’s knowledge, skills, and abilities contributed to this successful partnership. Eligible nominees should have served as their institution’s Title IX Coordinator for at least one full year.
