Bias Incidents may or may not reach the threshold of harassment or discrimination as defined by Title VI. Student Conduct Officers must be able to discern reported behavior that falls under the Code of Student Conduct versus reports of behavior that could constitute protected class misconduct. This webinar will provide practitioners with clear information about the difference between bias incidents and incidents that should be referred to the institution’s Title VI or Equity Office. Practical application issues associated with managing bias-related cases will be explored.
